My World in 100 objects #2

While I cannot honestly describe myself as a nitpick, I always seem to be able to sight any error/misspelling in any written communication. I even once fancied myself to be a high-flying proofreader (if such exists). I took (almost) all the unpopular courses in school because I felt they would help me make headway with this lovely talent. In fact, my linkedIn account still has me profiled as a proofreader. Alas, the drab-looking offices of the few established Nigerian publishers was enough to scare me off. They just do not compare to the healthy, lively colors and feel of, say, an advertising agency. I settled for journalism, at least that was the best offer that came my way then.
Yet this knack remains.
