Solace in silence 
When I would rather be giving and taking
When the puzzle yields not its form
And the comfort is nothing but basic


Solace in silence 
Because dignity must be
Because to ask degrades the seeker
And words refuse to be retrieved


Solace in silence 
As one must consider all mortals frail
As the tears, the pains have to be borne alone,
And jealously... 'like Jehovah, God of the Jews'.
