OK so I abandoned the 100 Objects project as fast as I picked it up. :-(
Its a trait of mine I'm trying to overcome. So after a series of lashings I gave myself in the privacy of my mind, I'm continuing
with the project. :-)
I'm putting jotters in number 7 because I heard somewhere that the number stands for perfection and jotters are perfect. They are blank, allowing you to redress them as you like.
Ever since I started Literature classes in high school, I have never been without a jotter. Never. I've not had many fanciful ones but we have been close. Even now I carry two big ones in my satchel everywhere I go. Our relationship started with my copying out poems I liked from anthologies I either did not want to buy or could not afford. Then I started trying to write poems from the gamut of emotions I refused to believe was not unique to me as a teenager. Then maths workout... i remember it as serious gymnastics on a subject area that still makes me shiver.
Then came University. Even now that I don't write so much, I love me my jotters.
