I did a PhD thesis proofreading in the first two weeks in
January. The subject area is forestry in Nigeria. From the historical
analysis of how forestry became a thing in Nigeria, it struck me how passive
the earth has been in our pillaging of it. From fruits above the ground to
those deep below:
- Humans sold off as slaves
- Timbers and other "valuable" trees
- Crops
- Minerals
- Precious metals
- Crude oil
I find it all interesting.
How is the earth going to fight back? We probably will end up
being roasted by the sun (morbid thought, I know).
Well, because I could not stop thinking about how Africa is the world's farm (I do not thank you, Adolf Hitler), I did an infographic of the thoughts I had because of this thesis on MSWord Smart art but I can't seem to be able to upload it.
I will try later.
UPDATE: I got it right. A screenshot, a crop, and here we are!

My opinion of the centuries of self-seeking the world has been about as it relates to resources located in Africa. |
Keep trying. :)
