Yes, the whole world notices when you get to the peak, they analyse to death how successful you have become. To them, that point, that small point is more important than the doggone years. More lovable than the days and nights of sweats and tears.
Those days, those times are real to you though, and to those who walked it with you. This success may not even be as sweet as you envisaged and imagined. You may get there and just be too busy to enjoy it. Or too jaded to celebrate it. Or too scarred for it to mean as much. 
That is why during the journey, you should not be so anxious for success that you do not enjoy yourself. Don't take decisions that will so scar you, it will make every win futile.
