I. Love. Braids. Definitely. I don't care for the hours it takes to make them but I certainly love the result when the hair-dresser's competent. Braids still is the only hair style that takes almost all day and I still go for it. the last one I had was a disaster size-wise, and it was the most expensive. I'm still plotting how to get back at that money-loving woman.

Plaits, twists, loose...mention it and I've probably made my hair that way. With the kind of kinks in my hair when I let them run natural, Braids are a fun relief from combing, not to mention the colours! I remember Tola back in my under-graduate days. She was an expert at braiding and didn't waste time either. I miss that about her. Until i wrangle a free hair-do out of that woman, I'll keep my hair as is- straightened.
